Flavored Waters and Tasty Teas

As this spring weather changes from cold to hot (and often back and forth!), flavored waters are a delightful treat. Whether you’re in the mood for a hot drink or a refreshingly cool one, adding herbs to your water makes for a tasty beverage.

Infuse your ice water with fresh herbs. Use either fresh or dried herbs in hot water to make teas.

Here are some of our favorite combinations:

Salad Burnet (tastes like cucumber) and Mint
Mrs. Burns Lemon Basil, sprigs of Lavender and Salad Burnet
Chamomile and Mint
Lemon Verbena and Mint
Jalapeño and Mexican Basil
Strawberries and Peppermint
Sliced Cucumber, Doublemint and Basil

These ones are perfect steeped on their own:

Roman or German Chamomile
Lemon Verbena
Doublemint
Holy Basil (aka Tulsi Rama Basil)
Corsican Basil

Get creative! The possibilities are endless. Enjoy this simple way of experiencing the many wonderful flavors of herbs and garden bounty all year long.
