Owner, Paola Legarre has worked in organic farming and marketing for the last 20 years. In looking to continue Paola’s commitment to organic farming and raising her family in Colorado’s clean air and wholesome way of life, her and her family moved to Palisade in 2005.
Paola’s first lavender planting was in 2006. As her lavender fields grew, she extended her product line to include essential oil, bath and body products, and lavender plant starts. Paola and her husband, Bobby manage the farm and maintain their lavender fields and cherry orchard by using sustainable farming practices; nourishing soil life, not using herbicides or synthetic fertilizers and encouraging the beneficial insects through diversified plant hedge rows, beekeeping, companion planting and insect releases.
In addition to selling products online, from April through September, Sage Creations sells sweet cherries, heirloom tomatoes, potted culinary herbs, lavender plants, both fresh and dried cut bundles, and an array of lavender products ranging from lotions, essential oils, neck wraps, eye pillows, and wreaths at their modest farm stand.
