Learn how to prepare, plant, process, and market lavender from one of the industry’s leading growers. Instructor Paola Legarre has been successfully growing and selling organic lavender for more than 12 years.
Topics will include:
Preparing beds – Design for the end in mind.
Harvesting for optimum use
Post harvest handling
Different cultivars and their marketability
Introduction to lavender propagation
and much much more….
9 hours of course instruction include an in-depth farm tour, hands-on learning, lecture and a Q&A session.
This two-day experience begins with a lecture and dinner, where you can ask specific questions about your lavender growing operation and get to know Paola.
Day 2 brings six more hours of course instruction, which include an in-depth farm tour, hands-on learning, lecture and Q&A.
Cost: $475/person or $800 for single operation (limit 2 persons).
50% deposit is due at time of booking to reserve your seat. Remaining 50% due two weeks before event. Paola will contact you around that time with information on how to pay remaining balance.
*$50 of your deposit is non-refundable. The remainder of your deposit is refundable until May 3, 2019. After May 3, your deposit is non-refundable.
Dinner and lunch are included.
To keep the class intimate and personal, this class will be limited to 12 participants.
